Senior Sales Executive - Sales of lumber, veneers, plywood to wood consuming industries (door, furniture, cabinet, etc.)


Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for establishing and handling a growing number of customers within the wood consuming industries, as well as merchants and distributors. This is a fast growing market, and in the light of the recent logging ban, our company is well placed so serve client’s requirements for imported logs, lumber, plywood, veneers, as well as locally sourced plantation wood.
  • You will be working from our Makati office and report direct to the general manager. You must expect some travelling to customers in Metro Manila, Pampanga, and possibly also Cebu. Car pool arrangement, and travel costs covered.
  • FILTRA Group represents major international suppliers of almost all known wood species. Most of our wood comes from FSC certified forests around the world, and our aim is to assist the wood consuming industry in the Philippines to find suitable replacements for locally sourced natural wood. You will be joining a fast growing organization with a high ambition level for continued growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s / College degree preferably in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Marketing or related field
  • With minimum of 3-5 years experience dealing with the industry, and preferably with some knowledge of lumber and veneers, as well as wood working, in order to understand our client’s requirements.

Sales Executive


Responsibilities:

  • Submits Reports pertaining to sales activities or whatever sales directives are given.
  • Regular client list updates
  • Quotation management
  • Networking activities
  • Quota and Budget management
  • Consistent sales activities
  • Suggests current and local trends as part of their direct interaction of the market
  • Services client concerns and requests
  • Successful prospecting activities
  • Careful planning of projects and supervision of support team on such
  • Proper documentation
  • Other sales activities as directed

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce or equivalent.
  • Proficient in oral and written communication, computer literate – Excellent skills in Excel
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience from the Culinary market
  • Full-Time positions available
